Grammy-nominated Chicago band Liquid Soul has resurfaced with “Lost Soul, Vol. 1,” a new collection of previously unreleased, buried treasures from the band.

Liquid Soul leader/saxophonist/composer Mars Williams joins me tonight to talk about Liquid Soul’s unique history in the Chicago scene, from the band’s formation through their legendary residencies at Elbo Room and Double Door. And yeah, I’ll probably ask him about his work with Psychedelic Furs, too.
