Chicago-based singer/songwriter Caroline Lucius is an artist I think you should know. She and her bandmate/brother Schaffer Lucius joined me for a fun episode that included incredible vegetarian food from Handlebar (2311 W. North Avenue).
Caroline talked about her music, how she and Schaffer have rededicated themselves to home recording, and why taking a break from social media is a really good idea.
Thanks to Handlebar for the hospitality and yummy food. Adam and Angela jumped in the car with NASHVILLE HOT FRIED “CHICKEN”* (hen of the woods mushrooms, bread & butter pickles, hot sauce, slaw, ranch, brioche bun), FRIED PICKLES (cornmeal breaded dill pickles, house-made vegan ranch), FRIED AVOCADO TACOS (cabbage slaw, tomatoes, refried beans, house-made ranch, flour tortillas, brown rice, salsa verde) and BLACK BEAN SLIDERS. Fantastic food… stop by when you’re in Wicker Park, or when you’re looking for a great place to go before or after a show.
