Metal! Beer! Tacos! Cats! ‘Feed the Beasts’ fundraiser preview at Soundgrowler (Episode 817)

Feed the Beasts is hosting a metal-themed cat rescue benefit at Soundgrowler Brewing Co. (8201 183rd Street Suite P, Tinley Park) on February 18 (5pm start).

I’m joined by Nicci and Dan, the kind souls behind Feed the Beasts, as well as Feed the Beasts-adjacent artist Jonathan Grimm.

We talk about the how and why Nicci and Dan started rescuing cats (trap/neuter/return), and what their work in the community involves.

We also chat about the bands performing at the benefit (all of them have cat-friendly names!):

  • The Hell Catz
  • Blackcat Manor
  • The Feral Ghosts

I also chat with John a bit about his art, his Kickstarter project and his podcast-ready voice.

Support Feed the Beasts (and have an awesome time in the process) by going to Soundgrowler on 2/18/23!
