Speed Babes are celebrating their ninth anniversary as a band by curating the upcoming “I Don’t Wanna Go Fest” at Reed’s Local (1/4/24-1/7/24).

The four nights are stacked, including sets from: Daarling / Heet Deth / Watermelon / Precocious Neophyte / Repent / Nightfreak / Voidclass / Miniskirt / Damage Dames / Jurassic Kong / Tuff Sudz / 96 Cougar. Speed Babes open each night with a 10-song set!

To preview the event and talk about the band, Jesse Ewan of Speed Babes jumped in my car mere feet away from Lake Michigan. During our chat, I confirmed that the band was essentially created from a dare.
