Alex Pancoe discovered he had a brain tumor at the age of 18. Years later, he’s wholly dedicated to giving back to Lurie Children’s Hospital, whose doctors saved his life. The most conspicuous way Pancoe’s giving back? Mountain climbing. Like, serious mountain climbing: The Explorers Grand Slam, which includes climbing the highest mountains on each continent and cross country skiing the north and south poles.
